John Dillon is our Chief Operating Officer. He is directly responsible for planning, directing, organizing and controlling the day-to-day operational activities and staff of the organization. Mr. Dillon implements and coordinates strategies, practices, and procedures to insure effective operations that will meet Valorous’ established objectives of growing the business.
Mr. Dillon came to Valorous after serving more than 30 years as an US Army intelligence officer and as a Vice President of Operations at a large Government contractor. He is an operations executive with a history of developing, building and sustaining business teams and strategic partnerships and growing business. Mr. Dillon possesses an innate ability to transfer long-term corporate vision into operational plans and successful revenue producing business opportunities.
Mr. Dillon earned his BA degree in Criminal Justice from Radford University and his MBA from Touro University. He is also a graduate of the US Army War College (Senior Service College Fellow at the CIA). He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
Valorous Director of Language and Intelligence Programs, Mitch Murphy, brings over 30 years of experience and expertise providing cryptologic language and intelligence support to the U.S. Intelligence Community. Mr. Murphy served 21 years in the U.S. Navy as a Serbo-Croatian and Spanish Cryptologic Language Analyst, retiring in 2006 as Master Chief Petty Officer following his final assignment as the Senior Military Language Leader at NSA/CSS.
Since his retirement Mr. Murphy has served in many capacities in the contractor community; including Senior Intelligence Analyst, Deputy Program Manager, Program Manager, Director, and Vice President. He holds a BA in Balkan History from the University of Maryland (Magna Cum Laude/Phi Beta Kappa) and an MS in Strategic Intelligence from the Joint Military Intelligence College.
Tim Hatcher is our Executive Director of Business Development and Intelligence Programs. Mr. Hatcher is an innovative and seasoned business and security professional with over 30 years’ experience supporting National-level, Federal, and Department of Defense clients.
As a combat veteran, Mr. Hatcher served 21 years in the U.S. Marine Corps spending a considerable amount of time deployed to Africa, the Middle East, Asia, and Latin America. Upon retiring from the military, he was recruited into the Intelligence Community, specifically for his experience within Special Operations. Within the IC, he served as a Human Intelligence (HUMINT) Targeting Officer and Counterterrorism Subject Matter Expert (SME) providing direct support to forward deployed ground assets.
Ms. Price is COO of VALOROUS, Inc. where she supports the CEO focusing on our clients and optimization of the day-to-day operations in the company. She is responsible for enhancing the internal organization processes and infrastructure that will allow VALOROUS to continue to grow and fulfill its mission.
A native Washingtonian, Ms. Price’s more than 35 years of experience and accomplishments were gained by employment with a broad array of government contractors, from small to large business. Prior to joining VALOROUS, she served as President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of a mid-tier provider of professional services and solutions. As COO, Ms. Price has responsibility for all of VALOROUS’ business operations and overall P&L. Ms. Price focuses on leading VALOROUS in achieving improved growth by developing a performance culture among a group of diverse, talented individuals, and ensuring the customer mission remains the company’s foremost priority.
Jackie Asencio is President/CEO of VALOROUS, Inc. With more than 30 years’ experience supporting federal contractors, Ms. Asencio has been a major influence in helping government contractors grow and compete in the federal marketplace. As a seasoned trainer and coach, Ms. Asencio worked with business owners ensuring their human capital management strategies are aligned to their business goals. Prior to founding VALOROUS, Ms. Asencio provided human capital management support to Department of Defense and various civilian agencies. VALOROUS has successfully provided clients with professional services supporting the U.S. Intelligence Community and Department of Defense for five years, and remains keenly focused on the clients’ missions, both CONUS and OCONUS
Ms. Asencio is a firm believer in giving back to the community. Her philanthropic activities have included supporting Operation Homefront, Wounded Warriors, Boulder Crest Retreat, The National Veterans Institute for Procurement, and local families in need. Ms. Asencio has received the Sister Eymard Gallagher Award for Corporate Social Responsibility and was a finalist for The Dr. J.P. London Award for Promoting Ethical Behavior for the Human Resources Leadership Awards (HRLA) of Greater Washington.
